Job description

We are looking for a client service manager that will focus on developing omnichannel marketing strategies; client service; overall account and campaign management; campaign performance; and team leadership. 


Lead strategy development and implementation of business communication programs focused on an omnichannel marketing approach Write strategic programs and range of other marketing / public relations materials, as well as overseeing writing quality and editing of materials developed by team members Provide senior counsel for accounts, including serving as primary liaison for client contact Lead, manage and develop team members Collaborate closely with our strategic leaders and experts across digital, creative, media and project management to deliver strategic recommendations and high quality programs that move the audience to action Oversee all executional responsibilities and administrative tasks associated with client accounts making sure agency and client reporting requirements are adhered to Guide team member on leveraging social listening and marketing analytics to inform content strategy Direct and motivate staff/team members by promptly reviewing work and providing constructive feedback Measure and report performance of marketing campaigns against established goals (ROI and KPIs) Manage and grow business through strategic counsel, exceptional service and high-quality deliverables Maintain industry awareness of trends and assess how it fits into the bigger picture of integrated communications Participate, as appropriate, as an active, engaged staff member in agency management activities supporting day-to-day management of agency as well as long-term strategic planning


7-10 years’ experience in public relations and digital marketing (agency and/or client side): Agriculture industry experience required Proven account leadership skills, with “big picture” understanding of each client’s industry, issues and operating environment Confident and effective speaker and presenter, as well as an active listener open to feedback Sophisticated writing skills with experience developing high-level strategic documents (e.g., proposals, programs, strategy documents) Demonstrated experience in all media strategy, including digital / social media, paid media and advertising Proven ability to retain and build client relationships, including managing through challenges High levels of accountability relative to financial stewardship of client accounts and agency as a whole Proven ability to collaborate with and manage cross-functional teams that generate results, and treat one another with care and respect Thoughtful and effective coach for junior staff; invested in the development and retention of high-potential staff members Innovative and creative thinker High level of comfort with core business tools (e.g., Microsoft suite, etc.) and familiarity with digital tools (e.g. WordPress, content management systems, HTML, and project management systems).
