Our client is seeking a creative marketer with superior organization skills to support the team running CONNECT, the platform's flagship conference. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience planning and executing events in a fast paced environment. As a valuable member of the marketing team, your role will be to provide support managing vendors and budgets, as well as ownership of event workstreams from start to finish. This is a 6 month contract experience.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Manage end-to-end vision and logistics for work streams such as F&B, expo area, registration, housing, customer gifting, ancillary event logistics, etc.
Partner participation and enablement
Drive strategy and execution of ancillary events
Manage sponsor communication and management (pre and post event)
Create ERC to manage booth content
Complete booth setup document
Ensure our event presence is consistent and inline with our corporate strategy
Working on multiple, simultaneous event workstreams that require both strategic thinking and creativity as well as high-speed tactical execution
Manage and prioritize initiatives and budgets with outside vendors
Ensure best practices documentation is created and adhered to for global reuse
Analyze event operations including tracking budget, establishing success metrics and prepare and implement recommendations for improving operational efficiencies within the events
Required Skills / Experience
5 years of event marketing experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in the Salesforce ecosystem
Proven ability to drive cross-functional collaboration across diverse sets of stakeholders
Exceptional project and time management skills - highly organized, detailed focused, results-driven, and accountable
Experience successfully managing third-party vendors, contractors and budgets
Creative and innovative thinking with a willingness to take risk, iterate and learn
BS or BA related degree in Marketing or Communications, or equivalent experience
Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM application(s) and Tableau
