Our client, a leading accessories and apparel brand, is looking for a Merchandiser for their Men’s category. As a Men’s Merchandiser, you exist to execute the merchandise strategy based on consumer and channel insights to drive long-term customer value by planning premium quality products and sustainable margins. This person will execute the merchandising process, from concept to delivery.
Location: San Clemente – onsite 2 days a week (flexible)

Build and implement a line plan, ensuring properly balanced style breakdown (fits, silhouettes, fabric, color, price, margin) to achieve seasonal product strategies and meet financial objectives for all channels
Responsible for the data accuracy of the line plan
Oversee the timely execution of all merchandising initiatives to drive a relevant, brand right, and margin rich seasonal product assortment
Analyze product and drive actional results on sku performance, sales trends, and consumer feedback
In partnership with Director of Merchandising, responsible for strategic product roadmap including growth opportunities and assortment pipeline
Work closely with Sales, Ecomm, and Retail partners to obtain and interpret sales data and customer feedback
Shape essential seasonal product stories and work with Marketing, Creative, Sales, and Ecomm teams to communicate and bring product to life for both sell-in and go to market
Partner with the Planning team in managing KPIs. Utilize reporting tools to track and review sales, determine opportunities & evolution of assortment
Regularly assess the competition against trends, marketing, and product strategy
Keep the consumer front of mind for all product decisions
3-5 years’ experience in Merchandising Men’s Apparel in an omnichannel environment
Strategic thinker who can build strong partnerships with internal cross-functional teams and vendors.
In depth knowledge of retail math, including elements of markup, margin, planning, and inventory productivity
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret multiple data points across numbers channels and market segments
Ability to balance analytical and creative tasks
Excellent judgment skills, strong decision maker, and the ability to quickly establish credibility within the organization.
Strong communication skills and demonstrative ability to present to Leadership
Eye for product and color trends; aware of macro lifestyle and fashion trends
