Well-respected Orange County based PR firm is looking to add a dynamic PR and Marketing Coordinator to their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of clients here in OC. The ideal candidate has 2 years of PR experience either with an agency or in house, a passion for driving client success, strong communication skills and a strong work ethic!
- Work as part of the PR team and partner directly on assigned clients
- Develop and edit written materials - pitches, press releases, event recaps, speeches, talking points, etc.
- Coordinate and lead client meetings including meeting notes and recaps
- Maintain timelines and deadlines for client activities, media plans and events
- Create and further develop press lists
- Partner with internal social media team as needed
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to engage with and further develop relationships with clients and press
- Self- starter mentality and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- 2 years of PR experience - agency or in house
- Passion for Public Relations and commitment to client’s success
