Job description

Our client, a creative agency, is looking for a Program Manager to join their team. This will be fully remote and they are looking for someone on the east coast as the client will be in Washington DC. 

The Program Manager is responsible for establishing the account’s project management practice and training project managers to adopt and master these processes; managing and mentoring reports to ensure high quality and consistent performance; working with Account and department leads to develop integrated project plans and timelines to inform resourcing needs to achieve the initiative’s goals; identifying and implementing operational efficiencies across team workflows; finding opportunities for greater integration of teams in the shaping and delivery of client work.

Job Duties & Requirements

• Establish project management tools, processes and structure for the account; train the project management team to ensure consistency and a high level of performance

• Provide oversight to the project management team across creative campaigns, asset development, digital solutions, and paid and social media

• Partner with the account management, marketing and creative leads to ensure alignment on program goals and to set project priorities

• Effectively communicate project expectations and roles and responsibilities to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion

• Utilize standard methods (i.e. daily standups) to drive priorities with the project management team; track active projects and their status

• Lead deliverables definition, resource requirements gathering, and project plan development for new projects; set the team integration and collaboration plan; oversee the delivery of projects

• Drive operational efficiencies across processes

• Own the development and internal approval of the monthly Grant Report, which summarizes all tasks completed or progressed in the month closing, to go on file with the Federal Government Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• 8-10 years of experience in Project Management

• PMP certification

• Demonstrated experience in personnel management at the department or team level

• Masters the art of cross-functional team work in terms of collaboration, efficiency, morale and work-product delivery

• Leads by setting the example of professionalism, work ethic, honesty and humility

• Inspires, motivates and mentors employees

• Sets expectations and standards to which all are held equally accountable, with firmness, authority and encouragement

• Computer literacy (especially with Mac environment and Google Apps)

• Experience using a companywide project management application to manage team time and tasks (Wrike)

• This position is covered under EO 14042 which means that vaccination is mandatory
