Job Description
We are looking for a strategic and creative Designer to help define and shape the future of the brand through our digital channels. As the Senior Graphic designer for digital creative, you will work with our team of designers and agency partners to strategize, concept, and create all of our digital campaigns and creative strategies for new product launches, brand campaigns, and online ecommerce initiatives. Your work will include, but not be limited to, digital campaign strategy, paid social, landing pages, emails, display ads, and ecommerce initiatives. Your work will also encompass brand awareness, incredible design, and performance marketing efforts in order to delight our consumers, make our brand irresistible to them, and truly help them lead creative lives through our products. The ideal candidate is a practical visionary who can lead a team to generate big ideas and execute flawlessly, meticulously, and on schedule. You have experience with working in-house and within creative agencies. You know that there is no such thing as innovation and creativity without process that enables your team to perform at their best. In summary, this role will leverage digital creative efforts to help build a world-class brand, deliver key value to our customers, and drive significant ROI for our ecomm channels.
Key Responsibilities
Partner and collaborate with internal creative, product, and marketing teams to define key objectives and develop innovative creative executions that meet them
Conceptualize, develop, and produce exceptional design and creative for primarily digital applications, with an extension into print and other media as needed
Partner and collaborate with product managers, visual designers, copywriters, and potential external agencies and freelancers from concept to delivery
Assist with the Creative Director's and Art Director's goals with strategic design solutions, proactive engagement with the design team, and dedication to our identity system and brand
Lead art direction in conceptualizing and on-set direction for photography, video, and motion; partner with Creative Director and Art Director on delivering creative work
Concept and lead initiatives to improve our online brand presence, content strategy and E-comm success
Lead visual and cultural research for your work
Qualifications
5+ years of professional design experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Experience crafting creative strategy for clients and products
3–5 years of experience leading integrated campaigns and content creation based on sound creative strategy
Strong communication, collaboration, mentoring, and project management skills
Ability to execute multiple projects from concept through completion
Strong typographic ability
Strong attention to detail
Experience managing digital products, growth marketing, and digital campaigns
Strong team player Proficient in Illustrator/Photoshop/InDesign, Microsoft Office Suite,Sketch or Adobe XD Experience with Adobe After Effects or similar programs also a plus, but not required Knowledge of DIY and craft industry a plus
