Our Agency client is looking to bring on a Freelance Account Director to start in October. Role will be fully remote.Roles and Responsibilities:

• Maintains strong client relationships, ensuring overall satisfaction with the team and agency
• Connects the right people to the right projects, both internally and with the client

• Can seamlessly maneuver across multiple clients and client cultures
• Keenly aware of staffing needs for their business; ensures agency has sufficient capacity to meet client need

• Provides consistent, timely communication with the Leadership Team. Has the foresight of opportunities and issues before they happen
• Mastery of all tools/processes necessary for a well-running account (workflow process, creative briefs, financial management, etc.)
• Master of SOW development; could write an SOW independently (descriptions, tactics, budgets, and timelines)
• Engages in brand-level financial discussions with clients (SOWs, estimates, etc.)
• Master of multitasking: ability to run multiple brands, teams, and clients with a sense of ease
• Master of brand operations: understanding the nuts and bolts of each account (brand style guide, PRC process, key data, etc.)
• Participates in new business pitches while working on brand assignments when necessary
• Demonstrates expert presentation skills and superior listening skills
• Partners with department leaders to ensure that quality work is being produced on time and on budget
• Brand planning and orchestration: ability to develop a brand plan that is in line with the client/brand requirements
• Understands the role and use of analytics and can speak to capabilities with the client
• Understands the core strategic elements of the development of a multichannel strategy
• Comfortable coordinating and running workshops and brainstorming meetings internally and with the client
Solid understanding of Veeva systems and client requirements
• Master of industry trends and guidelines (e.g., CAN-SPAM, privacy policy, etc.)
• Communicates strategy and tactical plans effectively across large multidisciplinary teams
• Develops strategic and actionable creative briefs; trains junior account team members to do the same
• Understands brand fundamentals (positioning, messaging, creative concepts) and how they all work together
• Fluent in market research methodology and approaches
• Possesses deep knowledge of category and competitive set, as well as client pipeline
• Understands all brands’/accounts’ key customers
• Understands FDA rules/regulations and life cycle of a brand
• Understands competitors and advocacy groups for each account/brand
• Actively monitors the headlines for current brand and competitor news
Years of Experience: 8-10 years
