Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a talented and creative Learning Experience Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating engaging and effective learning experiences that empower our employees/students/members to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other stakeholders to analyze learning needs and design solutions that meet those needs.
- Develop innovative and interactive learning experiences using a variety of modalities, including e-learning modules, videos, simulations, games, and other digital content.
- Create learner-centered designs that incorporate best practices in adult learning theory, instructional design, and user experience design.
- Design and prototype learning materials and experiences using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate Storyline, or similar software.
- Conduct thorough quality assurance testing to ensure that learning experiences are error-free and meet quality standards.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and technologies in learning and instructional design, and incorporate them into our learning experiences when appropriate.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate the effectiveness of learning experiences and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and communicate project status updates to stakeholders as needed.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years experience designing and developing interactive learning experiences, preferably in a public sector setting
- Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate 360 and similar software.
- Strong visual design skills and the ability to create visually appealing and intuitive learning materials.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
