Sales Operations Coordinator Job Responsibilities:
Our client is a global skincare brand based in NYC, they are looking for a Sales Operations Coordinator to support the wholesale team. Candidate should be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Strong business acumen and analytical skills. Ability to adapt to changing priorities. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills. Wholesale or retail operations experience. Excel, PowerPoint, Quickbooks & EDI mastery.
Full time, based in NYC. Reports into the wholesale account manager & executive team.
Sales Operations Coordinator Responsibilities:
• Support sales team for North American business, assisting in the achievement of sell-in and sell through plans
• Enter wholesale sales orders into inventory fulfillment systems daily
• Support retail Account Manager in day-to-day functions (order review / fulfillment/entry, product data management across internal and external systems, SKU issuance, etc)
• Work closely with fulfillment and warehouse teams on inventory management and demand planning
• Partner with Retail Account Manager & executive team in reviewing weekly/monthly KPIs and identifying inventory risks to retail channels
• Update various retail operational processes as needed
• Manage purchase orders and receipt flow, tracking deliveries with retailers
• Partner with US wholesale manager to process and track shipments and returns
• Foster strong relationships within retailers’ buying offices and provide timely follow-up to any queries
• Work collaboratively with cross functional teams, building effective partnerships
• Analyze store performance, accessing retailers’ systems, to identify and communicate selling trends and stock positions. Flag any issues or irregularities
• Review web accounts weekly to ensure in-stock position, all skus are listed with accurate copy and imagery
• Assist in managing US marketing calendar by store & retailer
• Develop an understanding of each retailer’s marketing process and accurately complete necessary intake forms
• Create accurate and effective vendor recaps as needed
• Complete all new products set up forms by retailer, work with wholesale & marketing to obtain copy and visual asset needed and submit to portals
• Collect weekly selling information, create reports, and distribute to team
• Maintain US account list and submit any changes to distribution monthly
• Maintenance of sampling programs
• Assist with market prep for seasonal retailer meetings
Sales Operations Coordinator Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in beauty or CPG operations
• Must have experience with Quickbooks and EDI systems
• Beauty experience preferred, CPG experience a must
• Highly organized self-starter with strong project management skills and attention to detail
• Positive attitude
• Ability to commute to our Manhattan office Monday through Friday
