Our fashion client is seeking an Assistant Product Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver, a team player, works well in fast paced environments, and is eager to learn. We hope to have this candidate come with previous apparel product development or production experience. This candidate will be working primarily on our women’s lines.
***THIS ROLE IS M-F ONSITE IN IRVINE***
Duties:
- Assist in managing prototypes & tech packs
- Manage sample tracking and data entry
- Reviewing production summits alongside with our Product Managers
- Track all protos, preproduction, & tech packs and TOP samples
- Assist in monitoring production status of all programs by season
- Work directly with sourcing agents and factory personnel to ensure materials, pre-production samples, fit samples, pre-production, and production processes are managed properly
- Assist early in design & development processes to manage pre allocation of styles
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience working in either apparel product development or production
- Ability to work cohesively with teammates and partners
- Must possess the ability to be adept at problem solving
- Demonstrates professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management
- Demonstrates high level of quality work
