Our client, a well known Beauty brand, is looking for a Director of Retail Partnerships to join their growing team!In this role you will work closely with the Chief Revenue Officer to direct, implement & deliver commercial activity with retail partners enabling further mutual partnership growth.
Location-Onsite 5 days a week (non negotiable) in Century City, CA
Salary-Up to $175K plus DOE
MUST have 4-6 years experience working with CVS, Walgreens or Target!!!!!
What You Will Do:
- Establishes annual sales objectives & goals, in conjunction with the C.R.O.
- Determines sales objectives established by each client.
- Sets new listing objectives (SS/FW) and plans accordingly to ensure listings / drive incremental sales.
- Provides monthly and quarterly progress reports and takes appropriate corrective actions if and when needed.
- Conducts key planning and review meetings with clients to ensure that planned sales and activity is executed and achieving predetermined goals.
- Partners with the CRO and CMO to plan customer specific promotional, merchandising & communication activity to drive sales and awareness.
- Conducts bi-monthly meeting with 3rd party brokers to ensure that plans and goals are lucid and executed in line with predetermined expectations.
- Provides forecasted data to planning / production to ensure that stocks are available OTIF and appropriate forward needs are visible.
- In conjunction with the CRO – establishes annual profit objective. Ensures that profit established by client and monitored and reported in conjunction with CRO & Finance team.
- Provides monthly and quarterly progress reports and takes appropriate corrective actions if and when needed.
- Ensures that in partnership with Finance, any promotional activity profit is in line with agreed tolerances set by the CRO
- Ensures that customer contractual agreements, commitments, and tolerances are adhered to per specific contract details.
- Ensures clear, cohesive communication across reports resulting in an alignment and understanding of business plans and priorities.
- Delegates tasks and directs reports ensuring that objectives are achieved.
- Develops a culture of contribution from all reports resulting in constant business and personal evolution.
- Coaches and shares skills with team to ensure overall team skill set evolves.
- Personal hands-on experience managing North American retailers within the Drug Beauty channel including CVS, WALGREENS, and RITE-AID.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability in problem-solving and negotiation.
