Position Overview:
The Ecommerce Content Marketing Specialist will be assisting the Retail Marketing Manager with day-to-day Ecommerce initiatives and tasks.  Primary responsibilities and focus will be product content development such as marketing copy, keywords, and images.
Responsibilities include:
•    Develop engaging product sales copy that accurately represents the product and highlights features to drive more sales (product marketing paragraphs and bullet points) - content implemented on retailer websites and other marketing channels
•    Integrate relevant keywords to optimize content visibility and drive organic traffic
•    Responsible for initiating retail photography projects and maintaining internal image databases – new product launches, existing product maintenance, existing product clean-up projects and new SKUs 
•    Create and upload in-use/application images and enhanced content to our Retailer Ecommerce websites
•    Maintain internal content databases
•    Work cross functionally to ensure that all product content is delivered to retailer websites accurately
•    Cultivate standards, processes and best practices for content creation, distribution and maintenance of new and existing product listings
•    Work with Marketing Communications team on infographics and videos
•    Assist with retail social content creation
•    Ratings and Review response assistance
•    Stay informed about content trends, competitor content changes and relevant industries changes
•    Additional responsibilities as assigned
Required (Basic) Qualifications: 
•    Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (Business or Technical)
•    Minimum 2-3 years in content marketing experience
•    Exceptionally strong copywriting, proofreading, and communication skills with high attention to detail – writing samples are a must
•    Experience in writing consumer-facing content
•    Experience with creating content for marketing programs including email, SEO, website, supporting product launches, social media, events, customer, community, and more
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced skills in Excel
•    Strong critical thinking, attention to detail and organizational skills
•    Photoshop/In-Design experience 
•    SEO experience
Preferred Qualifications: 
•    Experience working with retailers such as Lowe’s, Home Depot, Menards and Amazon
•    Experience with retail syndication systems such as Syndigo and Salsify a plus
