Position Objective:

The graphic designer will work with the In-House Creative team. They will assist in the development, refinement, and execution of inspiring creative designs for various print and digital marketing projects. Passion for design in all media, attention to detail and ability to deliver work at the highest quality standards is essential.
The position exists as part of the overall marketing team (MARCOM). Design work will range from national print and digital campaigns to internal collateral work for various Business Units. They will be expected to develop the internal relationships needed to succeed in a corporate work environment. A general understanding of Marketing and design experience in a MARCOM environment is an essential part of the success of this position.

Qualifications:
The graphic designer should be experienced in a wide range of design, production and creative capabilities.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)
• Experience with corporate CI Guidelines
• In-house creative experience
• A practical understanding of all types of print and digital formats such as; brochures, print ads signage, emails, banner ads and mobile app graphics and all related project types
• Basic understanding of CMS
• The ability to manage multiple projects and remain flexible with changing deadlines
• Digital Signage experience is a plus
• HTML experience is a plus
• Video editing experience a plus
• Some Project Management

Responsibilities:
• 5+ years of experience as Graphic Designer
• Portfolio samples representing both print and digital
• High level pre-production skills for delivering files to vendors and clients with a keen eye for detail
• Strong understanding the foundations of design (layout, composition and color theory)
• Manage design assets, follow archive and project management workflow
• Self-manage multiple projects at one time in multiple formats
• Deliver designs from concept through deployment
• Produce designs to help the marketing team develop effective campaigns including mockups, wireframes, storyboards, mechanicals, etc.
• Self-manage projects adhering to deadlines
• Take on special design tasks (e.g. photo manipulation, major and minor layout changes, logo recreation)

Other details:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Graphic Design or Printing
• This is a 40 hour per week hybrid workspace contract position with flexible schedule
• Role reports to the In-house creative lead within the MAROCM team
