24 Seven is partnering up with a well known creative agency in the Portland area to help them find a mid-senior level Graphic Designer to join their team! This is a 1-2 month contract with up to 40 hours a week with potential to extend. They are looking for someone to go onsite 1-2 days a week in Portland, OR.

Ideal Candidate: will have experience in an agency or in-house creatives team, well-versed in the design and creative process as well as be an expert in Adobe Creative suite.

OVERVIEW 
The Graphic Designer works across a wide range of communication media including print,
digital, web, and environmental. The Graphic Designer works closely with a cross-disciplinary
team of designers, technologists, producers, and strategists to create unique and dynamic
consumer experiences and bring innovative and thought-provoking content to life.

The Graphic Designer will have the opportunity to work on all phases of the creative design
process, from brainstorming and concept formulation through final editing and production. The
role requires an understanding of how strategy drives creative direction, guides inspiration, and
generates the core ideas that inform coherent concepts across a wide range of mediums.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES 
• Design a wide range of content to support brand, product, web, and marketing initiatives
• Translate brand strategy, research insights, and rationale into cohesive design, with a
focus on the needs of consumers
• Collaborate with our creative team to plan and execute content strategies that drive
engagement and reflect current trends
• Participate in brainstorming sessions, envision ideas, help communicate concepts, and
take direction and feedback from creative directors and account leads
• Create a wide range of content to support brand, product, web, and marketing initiatives
• Engage with other internal disciplines (3D, Interactive, Motion) to ensure the graphic
related applications are being considered
• Willingness to participate from inception through production, working with our producers
and vendors to create final production ready files
• Create thoughtful and robust graphic design elements (typography, color, layout, etc.),
blending strategic insights and collaborative creative inspiration

• Understanding of the graphics production process (including pre-press file preparation,
etc.) and the production of print-ready digital files

external teams 
• In-depth understanding of brand visual identities and their components, why they work
and how to deploy them strategically
• Consistently works on improving knowledge and skills
• Thrives in a fast-paced, team-centric environment, and is excited to bring ideas, energy
and personality to the process
• Has a knack for, and interest in, user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design
• Self-motivated and confident to make decisions, and willing to seek guidance when
needed

Qualifications: 
• Experience in a creative agency environment or in-house creative team
• Well-versed in all phases of the design and creative process
• Bachelor’s Degree in design or related professional creative degree; or equivalent work
experience in leiu of degree
o Expert in Adobe Creative suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and XD)
o Keynote 
o Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Teams etc.)
