Home Technical DesignerOn site : 5 days a week in Stamford CT
Pay: 40- 45/hr DOE
Our client has has an array of soft and hard home products including bath towels, kitchen towels, table linens, bath rugs, adult and kids bedding, and decorative accessories. This role will focus on categories including bath, kitchen, and tabletop. The successful candidate will have experience providing technical design support to the design team for all production specs.
Home Technical Designer Responsibilities:
- Complete accurate technical specifications inclusive of Construction description, detailed construction illustration and technique reference images
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate samples and ensure they meet requirements
- Proactively identify construction issues and partner with cross-functional teams
-Ability to prioritize and meet all deadlines to ensure timely production delivery by ensuring project is on schedule
Home Technical Designer Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
- Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, PLM a plus
- Experience in soft home categories such as bath, bedding, kitchen towels
