UX Strategist Overview:
As the UX Strategist, you will shape the experience strategy and ground solutions in deep and insightful representations of users and their needs to drive successful business outcomes.
UX Strategist Responsibilities:
- Partner with UX peers, product, and technology to initiate and align on digital product experience visions for key customer journeys
- Apply design thinking to create world-class digital experiences across multiple platforms and channels, by bringing together user needs
- Plan, and manage the creation of future-facing and nearer-term experience strategies from discovery through to concepting and prototyping; work closely with user research and design team members as part of this process
- Align with product owners and technology partners on the roll-out and translation of the experience strategy to delivery roadmaps; this may pertain to one digital capability and/or cross multiple products and platforms; provide input on feature prioritization and program planning
- Oversee, plan, and manage how the user experience is being sequenced in delivery to ensure a seamless roll-out of the experience for the customer
- Create, maintain, and track UX metrics on an ongoing basis across the product platform
- Align the design team on the UX metrics and evaluate the extent to which their work achieves them during the delivery cycle
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience as a UX Strategist
- Strong portfolio showcasing case studies and examples of experience strategy work.
- Expert understanding of design thinking process and experience in applying various methods within various types of constraints.
- Expert stakeholder management with tenured input on program planning.
- Ability to understand and communicate business goals and objectives and translate into experience objectives
- Ability to independently compile information from a variety of sources.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
