Out client been a leading manufacturer, distributor, and marketer of men’s, women’s, and children’s footwear brands for over thirty years. Focused on building footwear brands for long-term growth and stability, successfully designs and markets athletics as well as casual/fashion brands throughout all channels of retail distribution.
Their mission is to consistently provide customers with the right product, at the right price, at the right time by combining a deep understanding of the consumer, market trends and the latest technologies with best-in-class product development, manufacturing capabilities and customer service.
Responsibilities (not limited to)
• Manage sales for specific category(s), and/or retailer
• Responsible for a strong line presentation, to all levels
• Assist in merchandising assortment creation whenever needed
• Actively support retail partners to achieve maximum sell thru
• Ensure brand standards are upheld
• Deliver upon seasonal and annual sales metrics
• Ability to travel (tradeshows, retail accounts)
• Analyze business and consult based on data
Skills and Experience
• 5+ years in buying/planning or wholesale sales experience in accessory, footwear, or apparel
• Work cross functionally with all internal teams and external partners
• Must be self-motivated and have the desire to learn
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications and intermediate Excel skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Good time management, ability to multitask and exceptional attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree required
