Our client is a well known women's knitwear company in LA! Seeking a strong Account Executive/Wholesale. This is not a remote job so you must live in LAJob Summary:
This candidate must have experience with contemporary women’s wholesale accounts on the west coast. Individual must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and ability to seek out new business and to maintain strong relationships with existing accounts. A positive attitude and strong desire to succeed is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Organizing markets and roadwork from the L.A. showroom (downtown)
- Responsible for creating strategies to drive sales to ensure goals are met consistently
- Sales forecasting for all accounts
- Drive store business, replenish and be proactive implementing sales strategies
- Maintain key relationships with existing store contacts and ability to seek opportunities to expand current business
- Assist in organizing markets and showroom sales line
- Roadwork within territory
- Travel to various shows in NYC, Las Vegas, Dallas, & San Francisco
Qualifications:
- Must have min of 5 years of wholesale experience in women's apparel/RTW
- Must be organized, proactive with strong time-management skills
- Detail-oriented with experience in strategy-planning
- Must have existing relationships with store accounts in the L.A. territory
- Ability and willingness to travel to various trade shows and on the road to see accounts
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in excel
