Job description

Our client, a life sciences leader, is looking to bring on an Administrative contractor starting 10/1, for a 5+ month remote contract. 

Overview:
The administrator, US Fast Trak differentiates itself for being in a global group and working closely with scientists, process owners, project leaders and external suppliers. This role is in a highly dynamic group and provides many opportunities for individual career development. In this position you will identify simplification, quality improvements, develop and implement reporting mechanisms and tools. You will coordinate trainings, help with administrative needs of a lab and our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading and being responsible for improvements and simplification of tasks across the Fast Trak organization including our labs and trainings.
  • Work with process owners in all impacted functions to develop and implement optimized solutions using Cytiva’s latest tools and infrastructural solutions
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of all work, and report to customers (where necessary) and management in oral and written manner
  • Provide administrative support to the USCAN Fast Trak organization including shipping, lab equipment service coordination, ordering lab supplies, booking training rooms, managing student needs during trainings etc.
  • Coordinate customer visits and tours for the Fast Trak organization
  • Provide administrative support to local team including order handling and invoicing
  • Work with Course coordinator for Fast Trak training coordination
  • Coordinate to resolve lab and other IT and process-related issues
  • Maintain dashboards on Fast Trak training programs
Qualifications:
  • Commercial, administrative, language or IT background
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in projects in areas of administration, operations, supply chain within complex organizations
  • Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple training/project initiatives simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong Analytical and planning skills
  • Comprehensive Project management skills and experiences
  • Ability to find added value solutions for customers
  • Strong understanding of business goals and standards for customer service
  • Necessary computer skills: Excel, MS-Office, SFDC
  • High level of flexibility and passion/engagement
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
