Our client, is looking for an Apparel Packaging Graphic Designer to join their team! Apparel packaging design is a must have.
Temp to perm
$8-90k DOE
5x a week onsite
Located in Bell, CA
- Own the packaging and visual merchandising POS units from concept of renderings/sketches through execution of lay outs and assets (including dyelines, bleed, trim, type safety, resolution, color mode); manage files through production
- Manages packaging projects across brands ensuring compliance of packaging materials developed with deadlines, budget, quality requirements, sustainability goals, translations, and brand standards
- Create renders and physical comps, when needed
- Ensure specification sheets for all packaging components are correct and updated
- Maintain brand standards; as needed, update brand guidelines including color story, typography and other visual elements
- Retouch, color correct, and other post production needs, as required
Skills and Qualifications
- Multi-disciplinary designer with 5+ years’ experience in packaging design
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud – InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
- Understanding of packaging structure, printing, and applying brand standards and guidelines
- Ability to perform a task in masking, knocking-out background, compositing, cleaning, cloning, cropping, and QA
- Proficient experience in print-ready files, creating dyelines, tech packs, and postproduction
- A MUST, knowledge & understanding of Frequency Separation retouching technique.
- Strong and polished retouching skills
