Our client, a busy Ad Agency, is looking for a Motion Designer to join their team! This will be full time and on a hybrid schedule at their Koreatown office.
We are looking for a Motion Graphic Designer / Art Director to ideate, concepts and execute digital and social media creative. The ideal candidate has experience within the gaming and entertainment space.
Working with various internal teams, you will be tasked with creating compelling content for our clients while partnering closely with the internal stakeholders to understand the strategy and direction of the campaign and ideate creative concepts that follow suite.
Essential Duties:
Conceptualize, design and animate work for a wide variety of high-profile social media projects
Collaborate closely with management teams on internal and external projects
Ability to create 3d text with motion, working knowledge of Cinema 4D preferred
Ability to create compelling social/UA content
Strong conceptual abilities, solid art direction skills
Desire to take on new challenges, grow and learn every day
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a larger team in a fast-paced environment
Understand the digital and social landscape
Position Qualifications:
5+ years of Art Direction at an agency, brand, publisher, influencer marketing or social media experience or a solid demo reel, portfolio: social media work showcasing motion graphics and type design abilities
Advanced knowledge of graphic design and typography with a broad stylistic and design sensibility
Working knowledge of software including: Photoshop, Illustrator, Cinema 4D and/or Maya
Working knowledge of animation techniques and cutting-edge software/plugins
Excellent communication, conceptual, and presentation skills
Ability to take direction and work in a collaborative team environment
Curiosity and engagement with industry and cultural trends and developments
Self-motivated and capable of handling multiple projects and tight deadlines
Drive to produce top level work that meets / exceeds industry standards
Gaming & Entertainment experienced, preferred.
