Job description

One of the world’s largest beauty companies is looking for an Assistant Media Manager to join their NY team.

The Assistant Media Manager will be responsible for assisting with full-funnel planning and strategic work across the broad portfolio, seeing campaign execution from start to finish.

The Assistant Manager, Performance Media will be responsible for budgets, campaign planning, launch, and reporting, and finding learnings and insights for pureplay and e-retailers.

Assistant Media Manager Responsibilities
 · Assisting in the development and execution of media plans across each e-retailer and pureplay, inclusive of targeting and channel analysis, ROI assessment, creative overview
· Helping develop media plans that reach pure play and e-retailer goals (Sales, SOV, financial targets) for Consumer Beauty and Luxury divisions
· Doing competitive research and analysis in beauty category
· Collaborating cross-functionally with teams (such as marketing, sales, trade) on their plans and working holistically to achieve targets · Liaising with agency on planning, execution, strategy, and reporting for campaigns and new opportunities · Providing monthly updates for Brand and Sales teams and becoming go-to resource for performance media knowledge
· Identifies new areas of eCommerce opportunity beyond current brand offering
 Responsible for granular media optimization, tracking and recording
· Collates media budgets & ROIs
· Supporting Senior Manager Performance Media with annual planning and goal by channel (owned/earned/paid)
· Tracking and analyzing A&CP spend and ROI
· Executing and processing media agency POs

Assistant Media Manager Qualifications:
· Knowledge in e-commerce media and performance media (strategy, planning, and buying, market and channel analysis)
· Project management/prioritization skills
· Very strong analytical skills · Strong attention to detail
· Focus on results and tenacity to get things done on time and on budget despite internal and external obstacles
· Proactivity and start-up mindset: ability to move, propose new ideas and take actions before asked
· Strong knowledge of US mass and luxury beauty and/or CPG (competitive brands, retail environment, digital activations), as well as other growth categories · Strong presentation and communication skills · 4+ years relevant work experience in media (preferably in-house and/or agency experience)
· A bachelor's degree is required
