ASSISTANT MERCHANDISER
Location: On site in Miami
Assitant Merchandiser Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage the development and production of apparel
- Maintain development and production calendars and deadlines
- Create, maintain, and mange WIP sheets and meetings
- Work closely with in-country Merchandising/QC Teams throughout development and production processes
- Enter, update, and log purchase orders
- Basic understanding of Tech Packs and BOM information
- Sample management: request, track, and organize all samples
- Review lab dips and mange approval process
- Read and understand customer manuals and requirements
- Basic fabric knowledge is required
- Understand the customer: research product assortments, pricing, and sourcing matrix to provide competitive analysis
- Interface with all cross-functional areas of the business to foster successful workflow
Assistant Merchandiser Key Qualifications:
- Strong Problem solving skills and critical thinking
- Must be detail oriented, extremely organized, able to manage priorities/time management
- Manage packages: sending and receiving
- Excel/Microsoft office proficiency
- Must be fluent in English and preferable Spanish
- 4-year fashion/retail degree preferred
- Required to work on site in Miami office
