Established Women’s apparel manufacturer has an immediate Associate Designer to join our team. As an Associate Designer, you will play a crucial role in the design and merchandising process.Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain line sheets and presentation decks using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Develop presentation boards for merchandising and sales teams.
- organizing samples and showrooms for major account meetings.
- Execute fabric and print development
- Place orders for fabrics and trims.
- Coordinate with internal teams on lab dip, strike off, and knit down approvals.
- Participate in setting up showroom for account meetings
- support with sample photography, tagging samples, organizing files.
Requirements:
- 3 to 4 years of experience in apparel merchandising/design
- Strong understanding of recoloring prints, working with CADs
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop
- Knowledge of garment construction principles
- Degree in Fashion Design or related field preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly organized with strong time management abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel
Salary range $60-70K
