Job description

Our client, a top Streaming Company, is looking for a Brand Content Writer to join their team. This will be hybrid in Los Angeles and a 1 year contract. 

In this role, you will be responsible for wordsmithing compelling narratives targeted at potential candidates. With guidance you’ll work closely with Talent Acquisition and stakeholders to craft language for scheduled newsletters, social media copy, event recap narratives, and blogs. 

Responsibilities:
  • Write creative and engaging content for employer branding campaigns targeted at potential candidates.
  • Write stories highlighting company culture, values, and career opportunities to attract top talent.
  • On occasion craft captivating social media copy for platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram to showcase company employer brand.
  • Create compelling event recap narratives to share the company experience with prospective candidates.
  • Collaborate closely with the Talent Acquisition team to align content with recruitment goals and strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with the Social Platform team to align content with marketing goals and strategies.
  • Ghostwrite thought leadership articles and posts for Company executives to enhance their LinkedIn branding presence and establish them as industry leaders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in content marketing and employer branding to continuously improve content effectiveness.
  • Work cross-functionally with various teams including Marketing, Communications, and Talent Acquisition to ensure consistency in messaging and brand voice.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in content writing, copywriting, or marketing, preferably in employer branding or talent acquisition.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
  • Strong storytelling abilities with the capability to craft narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and understanding of their respective best practices for content engagement.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Experience with executive ghostwriting or content creation is a plus.
  • Passion for entertainment and technology industries is desirable.
