Job description

A critical member of the team, the Marketing/Brand Manager manages the marketing strategy, planning, and implementation, ensuring product ideas are powerfully brought to life across all major marketing and digital touchpoints. Additionally, this role will support marketing strategy for category growth as well as any diffusion subcategories that are critical for the business. His/her mandate is to grow brand awareness, new customer acquisition, drive traffic/conversation and deepen the emotional connection consumer experience to the brand's house of brands and future initiatives.

Essential Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • • Support in Omni-channel marketing strategy, planning and implementation, ensuring that all brands and adjacent category ideas are brought to life in a powerful, unique and emotionally engaging way across brand touchpoints
  • • Develop seasonal campaign briefs and partner with creative team to develop work that is on brand, meets messaging objectives and delivers impact
  • • Develop seasonal product messaging to create differentiated product positioning and compelling storytelling around core styles and new product growth categories
  • • Lead Omni-channel hind-sighting and competitive analyses to inform seasonal and cycled marketing strategies
  • • Well-versed in marketing reporting and delivering results to executive leadership
  • • Use data to identify opportunities and measure success while still thinking very creatively
  • • Extract data and customer information into digestible insights used for storytelling across the business, while closely collaborating with cross functioning teams
  • • Partner with cross-functional team members to continuously test, measure the effectiveness of and optimize brand marketing/brand campaign initiatives
  • • Present seasonal marketing strategies and plans to cross functional partners and Executive leadership team to garner buy in and obtain approvals
  • • Support VP of Innovation in leading brand marketing strategy for key strategic growth initiatives to drive business results, growth, and relevancy
  • • Architect and manage the launch of new global brand, product and campaign cycles
  • • Support on special projects, as needed
Qualifications:
  • • Minimum 5+ years relevant experience at retail/consumer brand or startup •BA/BS degree required, MBA a nice plus
  • • Your ideas are a little wild, a little bold
  • • Obsessed with reaching new audiences
  • • Entrepreneurial, creative and scrappy
  • • Comfortable functioning as both a leader and a doer. Providing leadership and insights while being a hands-on member of the team
  • • Strong analytical and quantitative skills – both an interest and skill in analyzing and making meaning out of data and translating that into actionable changes
  • • A digital native, deep familiarity with social and community platforms, and analytics tools and engines
