Job description
Contemporary Fashion Brand is looking for a skilled Gerber Patternmaker to join their team! You will be working across all categories including, tees, denim, mens and womens.
Responsibilities

Create first through production patterns in Gerber for a full range of sportswear styles, from pants and jackets, to tops and dresses

Work with tech adviser to import technical packages for costing and production

Shrinkage knowledge
-
Drape, draft, and issue cuts
-
Attend fittings, measure garments and document and implement changes.

Work with sample makers to ensure proper garment construction and to ensure pre-production samples meet requirements.

Spec and fit approvals for pre-production, final production samples

Partner/ Collaborate with design and product development teams to craft collection
Qualifications
-
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in pattern making and contemporary fit Formal education in Pattern Making and Apparel Production- Contemporary experience

Strong trend and fashion awareness

Experience with intricate, designer-level patterns and fabrications

Knowledge of garment dyes, woven and leather
-
Tailoring experience, excellent draping skills, and strong construction and sewing knowledge a MUST

Ability to be a team-player and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Computer proficiency in Gerber, Microsoft Office, Excel, PLM and Microsoft Teams

First through Production Pattern maker
-
Must have good communication and written skills
