Job description

Our Client, a popular ecommerce platform, is looking for a Licensing Associate/Manager to support on a growing area of business – Food and Bev. 

Hybrid, Los Angeles
Temp, until December 2023
40 hrs a week
Pay- 50-60/hr+ DOE
Candidates with less than 5 years experience in licensing should not apply



Key responsibilities :
- You will work with the team and own all  licensing of content across categories, and fully own the relationship with licensees across subcategories.
 You will be able to identify and evaluate strong licensing partners who can deliver on an established set of KPIs (e.g. quality, distribution, sales performance) and whose goals align with ours.
- Assist with the licensing of our content across categories by creating pitch materials for partners, identifying areas of opportunity, and ongoing management of relationships including quality, distribution, sales performance,  and negotiate favorable deals and proactively manage licensees to achieve our short and long-term strategic goals.
- Be informed of the cross-functional teams (e.g. content, marketing, publicity, PR, social, etc.) and understand how other teams function
- Possess strong analytical and financial skills to continually evaluate business and market performance, including category and consumer trends.


REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrated, 7+ years of experience in outbound licensing function. CPG/F&B experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the licensing landscape and value chain from ideation around IP through to delivery and consumer experience, including Product Development & Creative/Retail/Consumer Insights
- Ability to develop category plans and drive programs to completion
