Job description

Our client, a global leader in the Market Research space, is looking to bring on a contract Digital Marketing Manager for a remote month contract, with opportunity to extend to 6 months or convert to fulltime. 

Overview:
The Integrated Marketing team leads digital marketing. We partner with our commercial stakeholders to protect and build the reputation of the brand and support the highest value revenue opportunities. We do this by clear and creative marketing and communications campaigns that engage and educate our external audiences. We generate commercial leads, help tell smart stories and create demand for our products and services.

This role reports to the Director, Digital Strategy, and focuses on creating and implementing compelling and engaging digital experiences that resonate with the client's audiences. This role engages with a variety of teams within MarCom and across the enterprise to optimize the digital customer experience. As gatekeeper to the brand's owned digital experience, you are involved in the website at the strategic, tactical and operational levels.

This role drives the digital customer experience and helps keep the brand content engine humming by aligning the processes, people and technology to produce world-class digital content at scale. You’ll champaign the role of the website as a marketing channel, helping to shape the look and feel of digital campaign content from ideation to publication. You’ll help shape the platform itself, identifying benefits and requirements for enhancements. You’ll track success around key performance metrics. 

Responsibilities:
  • Implement strategy for web properties, collaborating heavily with brand, product, marketing, and technology teams in planning, development and optimization
  • Serve as a power-user for the content management system and other centralized web operations tools, building and updating web pages
  • Define goals and objectives and determine which content methods and tools to use for each initiative
  • With an eye for design, partner with stakeholders and the In-House Agency to build new and revise existing content in creative, attention-grabbing ways that create brand preference and drive business needs
  • Partner with SEO manager to optimize content and site experiences for organic search
  • Drive consistent messaging by implementing a content categorization and tagging system that enables audiences to quickly and easily find relevant content
  • Work cross-functionally to develop and streamline workflows to increase efficiency, effectiveness and scalability
  • Collaborate with web developers and the Technology and Data Solutions team to highlight business needs for enhancements and innovations
  • Measure success based on KPIs, and use data to inform decisions and improve channel performance
  • Be an advocate for digital best practices, in collaboration with content creators and designers across the organization
  • Work cross-functionally to develop and streamline workflows to increase efficiency, effectiveness and scalability
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5+ years experience in B2B Marketing, Media, and/or related field
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Technology or related field
  • Fundamental knowledge of the interplay between content, technology and people
  • Confident using quantitative and qualitative data to make informed decisions about the strategy and execution of digital content
  • Experience with digital and web content strategy, implementation and optimization
  • Experience with WordPress or similar content management systems
  • Experience with Yoast or similar SEO plugins
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Data Studio and Google Search Console
  • Understanding of content personalization and measurement tools (i.e. Optimizely, Google Optimize 360, Pars.ly, Knotch, etc.)
  • A proactive, goal-oriented team player able to work independently and collectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability and interest in learning new web-based tools or platforms
  • Strong relationship skills capable of developing, maintaining and growing internal and external strategic relationships across partners and functions 
  • Data-driven, analytical, with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong project management and communication skills
  • Energetic, passionate, with an appetite to grow
