Our Buying team helps fuel the sustained growth of our business by selecting and managing the best product assortment for our North America boutiques and e- commerce sites. Operating as a central hub, we partner closely with the Design, Sourcing, Planning, Distribution, Visual and Marketing teams to develop and support our seasonal assortment. A Day In The Life:
The typical day is…atypical. You will be developing, executing, and communicating product strategies for Ready to Wear, Footwear, Swim, Soft Accessories, Home & Licensing for direct-to-consumer stores while building effective cross-functional partnerships with team members in Global Merchandising, Planning, Site Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Marketing and Creative. You are analytical and enjoy hind sighting business weekly, monthly and quarterly to inform future buying decisions to keep in line with the financial plans. You lead your team to drive the business by curating seasonal buys in quarterly markets which align with the brand goals and key marketing messages with store specific needs to ensure success of the Full Price Store business. You will manage cross-functional team relationships on an ongoing basis by providing direction on vision, strategy, and meetings to unify the team toward a common goal.
To Land This Role:
· BA/BS Preferred
· 6+ years of relevant buying experience, preferably in dynamic, monobrand retail organizations
· Excellent leadership and communication skills; ability to motivate and inspire teams
· Strong collaboration and creative problem-solving skills
· Strong Analytical and business acumen skills for both pre and post, time of buy
· Travel required to the retail stores giving product knowledge to the field team and gaining understanding of the local market to support future product/tiering strategies or opportunities
· Advanced efficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
