Our innovative beauty client is seeking a Director of Finance to join their growing team!
Responsibilities
- Manage staff in the Finance Department. Responsible for all Financial data integrity and reporting and putting internal control policies and procedures in place. Handles all matters with financial institutions, audits, and insurance needs.
- Responsible for company and departmental budgeting and cash flow analysis. Updating budgets/projections on a monthly/YTD basis. Reviewing and approving expenses and analyze areas for expense reduction. Monitoring daily cash availability at the factor and authorizing payments.
- Oversee and review the timely closing of the general ledger, commissions, and royalties each month. Review and close commissions and royalties on a quarterly basis. Analysis of financial statement accounts monthly/annually. Review sub-ledgers for accuracy and completeness (AR, AP, GP reports, Inventory.)
- Responsible for maintaining and analyzing gross and net margins.
- Monitoring chargebacks received. Responsible for appointing staff to research and resolve chargebacks. Communicate to other department’s operational related chargebacks and possible solutions to prevent re-occurrenc
- e. Establishing customer credit limits and determine and monitor credit facility with customers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related
- 5+ years' of leadership experience in finance, accounting and Human Resources
