Job description

Job Purpose: The Director of Logistics will lead the global logistics strategy, define, and track key metrics and performance for the delivery, and distribution of women's contemporary apparel.
Standardize the efficient movement and storage of finished goods throughout the entire Global Supply Chain.
Lead the logistics team to establish logistical best practices that support our global dynamic growth.

Responsibilities:
• Understand the company’s high-level vision and translate it into clear logistic staffing strategy and actionable performance goals for the department.
• Optimize the global logistics network across all channels, geographies, supporting a fast, efficient, and cost-effective global supply chain.
• Work with production & planning team to meet on-time inbound Purchase Order delivery through NetSuite.
• Oversee the management of air, ocean, ground & parcel contract negotiations.
• Develop procedures and systems to manage all logistics costs across the company. Drive costs reductions while balancing service levels.
• Manage all distribution centers.
• Leverage industry best practices and market trends to evaluate current logistics practices and improve our current processes and strategy.
• Define and deploy Best Practices for the organization, making sure internal and external processes are established.
• Collaborate with Planning to optimize stock levels for wholesale and e-commerce, and retail channels, speed to market, and gross product margins.
• Oversee the Logistic department and Office Manager, all project management and new business projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business or equivalent.
• A minimum of 8 years’ experience which includes developing, driving, and leading global strategic logistics initiatives.
• Working knowledge of NetSuite & WMS.
• Knowledge of international parcel, ground, air, and ocean logistics operations.
• Project management, negotiation, change management and conflict resolution skills.
• Positive attitude, be results-driven, and get hands-on.
• Well-defined personal leadership style and clear best practices.
• Proven background in scaling an inventory-based business.
• Experience in DTC, Retail and Wholesale required.
• Strong working knowledge of the industry and brand landscape.
• Experience working with a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.
