Job description

Leading Architecture High End Brand  is seeking a talented Director of Projects with extensive experience in private residential and luxury hospitality to join our Studio.
This position is based full-time in Los Angeles.

The ideal candidate is a visionary creative leader with a track record of inspiring teams and managing multiple large-scale design projects from conception through completion.

Job Responsibilities
•              Oversee the management and delivery of multiple design projects across private residential, luxury hospitality and commercial sectors, acting as the primary point of contact
•              Lead the design development, drawing, and documentation processes for projects, and manage scope, schedule, and budget during construction. This includes coordination with clients, contractors, and fabricators
•              Supervise the submission of drawing sets, including specifications, technical production and code compliance
•              Develop and oversee project milestones and timelines, ensuring timely delivery of project deliverables
•              Lead, mentor and motivate design teams, identifying and facilitating professional development opportunities
•              Manage design team requirements, including resource planning and allocation
•              Contribute to studio activities, initiatives, and learning programs, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment

Desired Skills & Experience
•              Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture
•              12-15 years of related experience, with a proven track record of managing multiple interior design and architectural projects end-to-end, including luxury hospitality and private residential
•              Must have experience in Rhino and Enscape; proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software preferred
•              Ability to originate and develop design concepts, leading teams through all project phases from inception to completion
•              Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to multitask and oversee numerous projects simultaneously
•              Extensive experience in Construction Administration (submittal, RFI, ASI/IDSK review/response, and consultant coordination)
•              Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead client and internal management meetings effectively
•              Proven ability to maintain existing client relationships and actively participate in new business development
•              Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
