Job: The Director of Sales is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of sales for a new brand launch. This includes coordinating sales efforts, overseeing distribution channels, maximizing profitability, and cultivating strong relationships with retailers and internal cross-functional partners. The Director will take charge of developing sales plans that align with the company's objectives, fostering overall growth, and collaborating with design and operations to capitalize on opportunities in all product categories.
- Create and execute a comprehensive worldwide sales strategy that is in line with the company's goals, market trends, and competitive environment.
- Achieve revenue growth by surpassing sales targets and quotas
- Generate precise sales forecasts
- Keep senior management up to date on sales performance, market trends, and risks
- Budget management
- Explore and capitalize on opportunities to expand the company’s global reach by penetrating new markets and establishing strategic partnerships
- Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with essential retailers, distributors, and partners to ensure the brand's visibility and facilitate its continuous growth.
- Lead negotiation
- Utilize market research and analysis to adapt and refine sales strategies
- Ongoing improvement of sales processes and tools
- Cross-functional collaboration
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in global sales management
- Must have young contemporary/juniors experience
- Strong relationships with department stores gen-z specialty stores
- Proficiency in CRM software
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally
- Willingness to go into an office 5 days/week
