DIRECTOR OF SOCIAL MEDIA

The Director of Social Media will develop innovative, world-class social media
strategies that drive engagement. This position will work closely with the
creative team, media buyers and the account teams to ensure that social media plans
are integrated into brand marketing and paid media efforts.
Director of Social Media Responsibilities:
• Lead a team of social media managers, designers, and community engagement
monitors to oversee all aspects of social media for live entertainment clients
• Produce highly engaging content that is creative, attention-getting and on-brand
for our shows and other clients
• Partner with key social media platforms, as well as seek out new and emerging
platforms to lead in innovation
• Implement best-practices that engage audiences and leverage the benefits of
individual social media platforms
• Own the development of a strategic social media marketing plan and its
associated budget across campaigns
• Lead the development of a wide range of content forms, including video, text, still
imagery, animation, live action and other content forms that best utilize the
technology available on any given social media/digital platform.
• Develop and pitch social media strategies and campaign ideas to new and
existing clients, and communicate performance results in weekly presentations
and analytic reports based on established KPI
• Attend industry events, shows, readings, etc. for networking purposes as needed
Director of Social Media Qualities:
• An inspirational leader with great creative instincts and business knowledge
• Be passionate and enthusiastic about live entertainment and theater
• Have a portfolio of highly creative social media marketing campaigns (preferably
in the entertainment space)
• Demonstrate the ability to think big and implement innovative ideas in ways that
create significant social sharing and media attention
• Agency, client, and live entertainment experience a must
