Job Description:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Styling to join their team. As the Director of Styling, you will play a critical role in building and scaling the Styling organization. You will be responsible for optimizing the client’s stylists' performance, developing effective onboarding processes, implementing continuous learning opportunities for the team, interpreting data to make informed decisions, and scaling the team from 80 stylists to over 300 and beyond.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in managing a large remote workforce and possess strong people management skills. While direct styling experience is not required for this role, we are looking for candidates with a quantitative background who can bring an operational and strategic perspective to building an organization focused on scalability rather than aesthetic.

Responsibilities:
- Build and lead a successful and scalable team of stylists
- Develop strategies to optimize stylist performance using data-driven insights
- Create effective onboarding processes for new stylists
- Implement continuous learning programs to enhance stylist skills
- Interpret data from styling quizzes to improve client sizing accuracy
- Conduct live consults with clients as needed
- Ideate ways to improve customer retention in our subscription-based model
- Bridge the gap between technology and fashion within the company
- Manage three Stylist Managers who oversee the field Styling Org Team

Requirements:
- Proven experience in managing large remote workforces or teams (size matters more than years of experience)
- Strong people management skills with an ability to inspire and motivate others
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for decision-making purposes
- Experience working with customer success teams preferred
- Familiarity with subscription-based business models is a plus
- Understanding of the fashion industry and styling concepts is beneficial, but not required
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface between business teams and the styling organization
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred
