POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Marketing Manager to spearhead our go-to-market strategies for our diverse beauty product portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Sales and Marketing, this role entails close collaboration with cross-functional teams to execute seamless product launches, drive brand growth, and enhance visibility on both domestic and international fronts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Long-Term Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a 3-year marketing plan for upcoming product launches, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
  • Calendar Management: Oversee and manage a detailed marketing calendar, coordinating new product launches, promotion strategy and support initiatives with sustainability goals.
  • New Launch Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the product development team to prepare for new product launches. Organize cross-functional kick-off meetings to ensure departmental alignment.
  • 360-Degree Global Launch Plans: Conceptualize and execute comprehensive 360-degree launch plans in partnership with cross functional teams.
  • Partnership Management and Opportunity Identification: Act as the primary liaison for external partnerships, evaluating collaboration potential and negotiating agreements that align with our brand values and objectives. Continuously scan the market landscape to identify growth opportunities through strategic partnerships, sponsorships, or co-branded initiatives.
  • Portfolio Optimization: Analyze and optimize the global product portfolio, taking into account financial metrics such as innovation impact, discontinuations, and profit margins.
  • Document Creation: Develop key launch materials, including strategy decks, forecasting models, and retailer presentations with the creative team.
  • Brief Management: Create and oversee the execution of briefs for new products, design, and campaigns, ensuring they align with launch objectives.
  • Asset Collaboration: Work closely with Creative and Digital teams for asset development, establishing guidelines for deliverables and messaging.
  • Pricing and Category Guidelines: Establish pricing and category guidelines for consistent global implementation.
  • Presentation Development: Assist in the creation of various presentation materials, including strategic and business overviews.
  • Promotional Execution: Maximize promotional support through comprehensive programs and offers, and analyze performance metrics for future planning.
  • Sales Alliance: Build strong relationships with Sales leadership to ensure alignment between key account plans and marketing initiatives.
  • Event and In-Store Planning: Conceptualize and execute brand-specific events and in-store marketing strategies.
  • Retailer Engagement: Develop retailer-specific strategies and presentations to secure buy-in and foster strong partnerships.
  • Forecasting Support: Collaborate with the forecasting team for the phasing of new saleable and promotional items.
  • Commercial Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with Commercial teams to integrate market needs into overall strategic planning.
  • Innovation and Concept Development: Regularly identify new product opportunities based on market and consumer insights.
  • Team Leadership: Directly manage 1 team member, focusing on their professional development and performance goals.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Regular interactions with: Operations, R&D, NPD, Design/Creative, Digital/Social media, PR/Communications, Global Education, and US/International Teams.
  • Financial Accountability: Oversee COGS and profitability metrics. Develop annual budgets for product launches.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field; MBA a plus
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience, with a focus on the beauty industry
  • Strong analytical, financial, and strategic thinking skills
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
