One of our B2B industrial supply and distribution clients is looking for an E-Commerce Merchandiser to join their team for an exciting new full-time role.

This E-Commerce Merchandiser will play a key role in driving online sales and optimizing the customer shopping experience on multiple proprietary e-commerce site platforms.


Ideal E-Commerce Merchandiser candidates will have:
- BA degree in marketing, merchandising, business management, or related field
- At least 4-5+ years of proven experience in e-commerce merchandising or related roles within the online retail industry (B2B preferred, but not required)
- Strong understanding of SEO principles as they relate to e-commerce platforms
- Excellent written communication skills with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to analyze data effectively using tools like GA4 (Google Analytics 4) or similar platforms
- Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) is preferred
- Familiarity with product information management (PIM) systems and their integration with e-commerce platforms is plus
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.


Job Responsibilities:
- Create, update, and maintain accurate and compelling product descriptions, images, pricing, and inventory levels on our e-commerce platform.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors' products, pricing strategies, and customer preferences to ensure the competitiveness of our offerings.
- Organize products into relevant categories for easy navigation by customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective merchandising plans that drive traffic and increase conversion rates.
- Regularly analyze website metrics such as traffic patterns, bounce rates, conversion rates, etc., to identify areas for improvement.
- Based on data analysis and customer feedback, provide recommendations to enhance the user experience and optimize conversions.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors to obtain accurate product information promptly while negotiating favorable terms when necessary.
- Plan and execute promotional activities such as discounts or special offers in collaboration with marketing teams.
