Our client, an Experiential Agency, is looking for a talented CAD Designer to join our team and provide support in various design projects. This will start ASAP and be an ongoing assignment. This will be remote but you must be local to LA as you will need to attend various events.As a CAD Designer, you will be responsible for creating detailed CAD drawings and utilizing software such as SketchUp to bring our design concepts to life. This position requires the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate effectively with our Graphic Design team.
Responsibilities:
- Create precise and accurate CAD drawings based on design specifications
- Utilize software tools such as SketchUp to develop 3D models
- Collaborate with the Graphic Design team to ensure cohesive visual representation across all projects
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on design concepts
- Maintain organized files and documentation of design iterations
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in CAD software
- Proven experience as a CAD Designer or similar role
- Proficiency in using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD)
- Strong knowledge of SketchUp or similar 3D modeling softwar
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadline
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in creating technical drawing
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
