General Manager Overview:

We need a dynamic, entrepreneurial, General Manager to run our fast-growing US business. This role will build exceptional internal and external relationships, be able to lead talented employees across Marketing, Sales & Education, Finance & Operations, and achieve challenging revenue and profit goals though the optimization of sales and marketing efforts, and close control of operating costs. 

 

 

General Manager Responsibilities:

•Developing the strategic roadmap for distribution and execution with granular sales and financial goals by category, region, account & door

•Managing the full North America P&L business

•Communicating both the retail and net budget estimates by channel, identifying risks and opportunities, and ensuring resources are maximized

•Providing a strong focus on elevating: team and individual talent, retention and coaching to ensure individual and collective growth and success

•Improved business processes for internal and external stakeholders. Evaluating competitive challenges and identifying opportunities for growth in both top and bottom line. Understands and monitors competitive activity, market trends, customers, products, prices, and channels to cascade

•Overseeing North America’s key education initiatives tailored to meet specific channel / content requirements and facilitation

•Overseeing North America’s marketing, account management and Finance operations to ensure innovative programs that support goal achievement by account with building blocks and specific areas of focus

•Negotiating account terms, space, and location

•Building company image and protecting our brand by collaborating with partners, community organizations and employees, reinforcing ethical and transparent business practices.

 

General Manager Qualifications:

•5+ years of experience in Sales/Management required

•Someone with outstanding business acumen & leadership experience with proven results in building a business, a luxury brand and driving sales

•An individual who can inspire and motivate the team with a clear strategy and execution plans

•Someone who has a deep understanding and appreciation for brand equity and relevant – maintaining brand pride and quality in all interactions.

•A strategic thinker – resilient and able to develop and communicate strategies that take challenges head on and realize incredible opportunities

•Someone with extensive understanding of a global brand

•An experienced businessperson who embraces all aspects of a general management leadership roles, financials, commercials, forecasts, products, teams, customers

•A business oriented and aspiring individual who is passionate about the world of luxury goods
