Job Description Summary

The person hired for the position of Global Digital Marketing Analyst will work with divisional marketers to interpret and analyze digital marketing data, then provide insights and action plans to help business partners drive performance against key performance indicators.

Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

 
  • Understand and fluently uses company technology & analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Power BI, etc.) to measure & analyze online marketing performance; works with business partners to establish digital Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) & metrics and works across organization and Areas to create consistent calculated metrics
  • Combine and interpret multiple analyses of external and internal data to form a clear understanding of digital & traditional marketing channel trends, emerging priorities, issues, and opportunities.
  • Use critical-thinking skills, conducts analysis of digital programs, and provides specific recommendations and actions aimed at driving business results and growth opportunities, balancing them against their impact on customer value and market dynamics.
  • Build custom reports based on business measurement requirements (pages, sites, product pages, etc.); creates projects / reports and automates the delivery at customized intervals
  • Provide guidance on proper methodology to implement campaign tactics tagging & tracking set up across multiple channels & platforms (such as web, email, CRM, etc.); includes data collection & storage process and technical methodology for incorporating into reports
  • Understand digital marketing channels (SEO, PPC, Social, marketing automation) and tools used across the organization (Google Ads, Eloqua, Salesforce, Facebook Ads, Power BI)
  • Understand the Customer Journey and uses that knowledge to actively develop metrics and KPIs for the end-to-end customer journey; make recommendations for business marketing and/or operational improvements
  • Understand the Marketing-Sales lead process, how information is passed from system to system and how to access the data.
  • Facilitate workshops and presents findings and action plans at monthly campaign/program reviews.  Consults with divisional marketers on digital marketing performance and communicates with confidence, clarity and credibility. Collaborates / partners with a divisions’ marketing organization, global Digital Resource Center teams, and the corporate marketing team.

  • Be fluent with a wide variety of reporting, analytical & statistical tools: Adobe Analytics, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, DAX and SQL
     
     
    Your Skills and Expertise  

     
To set you up for success in this role from day one our client requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

 
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution in Marketing, Business Analytics or related field
  • 3-5 combined years of Digital Marketing, Marketing Analytics or other relevant experience
     
    Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
     
  • Proven track record of analyzing various marketing data sources, distilling large amounts of information into the most critical KPIs, and deriving insights resulting in strategic recommendations and optimizations for marketing programs.
  • Highly motivated, resourceful, tech-savvy, fast learner 
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, comfortable translating data findings in a clear and understandable way to both technical and non-technical individuals. 
  • Strong presentation skills both in development of content and delivery/storytelling
  • Credible experience with (or at minimum, strong working knowledge) of Microsoft Office, Power BI, Tableau or other data visualization tools, Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics , Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
  • Collaborative team player with experience leading and facilitating workshops and working sessions with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management experience, working closely and diplomatically with internal matrixed teams, managing tight timetables and multiple large projects simultaneously. 
  • Working knowledge of Digital Marketing channels, MarTech capabilities, and sales and marketing first-party data sources.
  • Preferred hands-on experience running multi-channel paid media campaigns across multiple platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, Google, Programmatic, Marketing Automation Platforms) with a focus on tracking performance to KPIs and optimization. 
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, comfortable translating data findings in a clear and understandable way to both technical and non-technical individuals. 
  • Strong presentation skills both in development of content and delivery/storytelling
  • Familiarity with SQL/R or experience working with data sets a plus but not required
