Our client is an innovative media production company, looking for a Head of Merchandising to jon their team. This company is dedicated to creating exceptional content across an array of platforms. Their diverse portfolio includes film, TV, streaming, and interactive media projects that pushes the boundaries on community engagement and entertainment.

This will be full time and remote. 

Head/President of Product Overview:
As the Head/President of Product, you will play a pivotal role in the larger organization and merchandise team, shaping and leading in all product strategy. You will drive the creation and execution of the product roadmap, ensuring that content and experiences meet the highest standards of quality, creation, and innovation. In addition, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end product development process, from ideation to launch as well as scaling the company and creating new products within the merchandise line. Understanding trends and forecasting budgets and planned spending will be essential to this role.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and articulate a clear product strategy aligned with the overall business goals.
• Define the product vision and communicate it effectively to the team and stakeholders.
• Create and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the planned features, enhancements, and releases over time.
• Prioritize initiatives based on customer needs, market trends, and business priorities.
• Build and lead a high-performing cross-functional product team, including product managers, designers, and engineers.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders, including executives, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure alignment on product goals.
• Present product updates and strategies to stakeholders.
• Conduct market analysis and stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.
• Use market insights to inform product decisions and identify new opportunities.

Requirements:
• 7-10 years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of successfully bringing products to market.
• Leadership experience, preferably in a senior product management role.
• Strong strategic thinking and the ability to align product goals with overall business objectives.
• Experience in developing and executing product strategies.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to build, lead, and mentor cross-functional teams.
• Experience managing and developing high-performing product teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• In-depth knowledge of the product development lifecycle, including ideation, design, development, testing, and launch.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and other product management frameworks
