HR Coordinator

Internationally operating group, focused in Fitness, is looking to hire an HR Coordinator to work out of their LA Office! The Human Resources Coordinator supports the HR team with various administrative duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to, new-hire onboarding, implementation and execution of key HR processes and programs, and other administrative tasks.

The role also involves performing tasks with a focus to group the company’s talent pipeline and improve the sourcing tactics.

 

Responsibilities:

•Assists with the new hire onboarding process, including scheduling orientation, completion of online application completion and paperwork, and ensuring local, state, and federal compliance

•Supports the recruitment/hiring process by sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, assisting in shortlisting, and performing administrative duties as requested

•Maintains records of personnel-related data in both paper and the databases, and ensure all employment requirements are met

•Produces and submits various HR reporting metrics, such as turnover, terminations, and training completion

•Assists the HR team with employee changes in the HRIS payroll system, which may include paper forms.

•Responds to internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests and provide assistance. Redirecting HR-related calls or distribute correspondence to the appropriate person of the team

•All other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

•Minimum of 2 years within human resources and/or equivalent combination of experience, preferably multi-state; a minimum of 1-2 years of office experience. 

• Experience out of Hospitality and/or Fitness experience is a plus

•Familiar with various types of HR and/or payroll software (ADP, ATS, Job Boards, etc.)

•Knowledge of state and federal laws and compliance matters.

•Knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, and Excel is a must 

•Must be proactive and possess strong organization and prioritization skills. Must have a high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

•Exercise good judgment in decision making.

•Must be able to build relationships, genuine connections, and trust, both internally and externally. Must have a client-first mentality and commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.

•Must demonstrate excellent communication skills and be able to communicate clearly in all various modes (verbal, written, text, etc.). Must have well-developed interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.

•Must be able to operate with discretion and confidentiality.

•Must be flexible and reliable team player internally and externally.
