Our client, a leader in the consumer goods industry, is looking for a professional and personable Human Resources Generalist to join their team immediately. The ideal candidate brings 5 years of HR experience across the various HR functions. Self-motivated, able to work independently and eager to continue growing and learning in their career from a great team!
This role is hybrid onsite in Irvine - only local candidates will be considered
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Partake in various HR responsibilities including recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, administering leaves, enforcing company policies, employee relations and more
- Continuously monitor and report on compliance and employee trainings as well as all state, local and federal laws and regulations
- Participate in recruitment process from reviewing applicants, initial interviews, coordinating additional interviews, assisting with on-boarding and serving as point of contact for applicants through out the process
- Run new hire orientation and make suggestions and modifications as needed
- Partner with managers on employee relations, performance reviews, employee recognitions, disciplinary issues and more
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees of all levels for various needs
- Continuously demonstrate a high level of confidentiality
- Stay up-to-date on trends within the market as well as upcoming changes within HR
- Work to identify process improvements and methods to better engage with potential and current employees
- 5 years within HR with exposure to the various aspects
- High desire to continue learning and growing within a great team
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and quickly absorb knowledge
- Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize time
- Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration or related
