Job description

Our client, a leader in the consumer goods industry, is looking for a professional and personable Human Resources Generalist to join their team immediately. The ideal candidate brings 5 years of HR experience across the various HR functions. Self-motivated, able to work independently and eager to continue growing and learning in their career from a great team!

 

This role is hybrid onsite in Irvine - only local candidates will be considered

 

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • Partake in various HR responsibilities including recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, administering leaves, enforcing company policies, employee relations and more
  • Continuously monitor and report on compliance and employee trainings as well as all state, local and federal laws and regulations
  • Participate in recruitment process from reviewing applicants, initial interviews, coordinating additional interviews, assisting with on-boarding and serving as point of contact for applicants through out the process
  • Run new hire orientation and make suggestions and modifications as needed
  • Partner with managers on employee relations, performance reviews, employee recognitions, disciplinary issues and more
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees of all levels for various needs
  • Continuously demonstrate a high level of confidentiality
  • Stay up-to-date on trends within the market as well as upcoming changes within HR
  • Work to identify process improvements and methods to better engage with potential and current employees
  • 5 years within HR with exposure to the various aspects
  • High desire to continue learning and growing within a great team
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and quickly absorb knowledge
  • Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize time
  • Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration or related
