Inventory PlannerRole Overview:
This e-commerce inventory planner’s role is to help manage inventory to drive sales on Amazon and other online marketplaces. The planner will be responsible for forecasting, planning, executing replenishment, and managing all inventory needs for the company.
Inventory Planner Roles and Responsibilties:
- Forecast and plan future production needs based on inventory turn rate.
- Ensure PO’s are placed on time to keep up with forecasted performance.
- Maintain strong in-stock rates across the catalog, while maintaining a healthy inventory sell-thru rate.
- Plan and monitor inventory levels at Amazon fulfillment centers as well as our own warehouses.
- Maintain Amazon inventory levels at Amazon fulfillment centers.
- Monitor in-stock and on-order inventory levels, proactively report all opportunities to internal teams to ensure there is enough inventory to meet sales goals.
- Work with warehouse and production team to ensure all purchase orders are Using analytics, identify inventory and sales opportunities in each business category based
- 3+ years in a related retail planning/inventory management role
- Ecommerce experience preferred
- Bachelors degree Analytical and quantitative - must be able to make business decisions based on large data sets
- Must be organized, proactive and driven.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
