Job description
Our client, a life sciences leader, is looking to bring on a Freelance Engineer -Automation, starting April 2024 for a 3 month contract. Remote possible, but prefer EST time zone.Responsibilities:
- Generate detailed requirements for automation products to be developed utilizing Rockwell Automation PlantPAx DCS platform.
- Develop programming controllers, configuring SCADA/HMI applications, S-88 batch systems according to design and performance specifications.
- Establish process automation system test plans to determine compliance with functional and design requirements.
- Design and author methods and processes to deploy, install, and configure customer specific control and network strategies.
Must have Experience:
- Rockwell PlantPAx
- Application Code Manager (ACM)
- Studio 5000
- Factory Talk SE
- Factory Talk Historian
- Factory Talk Batch
- Factory Talk Alarm and events.
- S88
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with DevOps - Azure DevOps: Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Test Plans.
- Git version control software.
- Agile methodology
