The Role

This role will be key to the project management of the “launch” squad in our team – this squad is responsible for all content relating to this leading automotive client's new vehicle launches and content updates across Europe.  The squad ensures that their content around vehicle and technology offerings is always up to date and is presented appropriately.

Roles & Responsibilities:
•    Manage the operation of the Launch squad, facilitating 2 weekly content update sprints
•    Sprint plans, Project plans, timelines, issue logs and task lists effectively
•    Tracking the status of projects, from brief to deployment, ensuring deadlines are met
•    Working with the UX and optimisation teams to test content proposals and gather data on the best approach to take forward to clients making sure that content is accessible, usable, and useful for all users, irrespective of device – and deliverable within the constraints of the platform
•    Reviewing processes and ways of working, to find efficiencies and establish clear roles and responsibilities for the project team
•    Making sure that all content is internally checked before being shared with clients or published, to uphold quality standards
•    Highlighting (and providing solutions to) any issues which may delay a project so that client expectations are managed
•    Building a good rapport with the content and marketing communications teams
•    Supporting in client meetings & liaison with local markets where required
•    Liaison with offshore content authoring hub
•    Arranging post-project reviews, to make sure lessons are learnt and appropriately implemented for future work
•    Attending project prioritisation meetings on a weekly basis, recommending where resource can be best utilised and arranging contingency planning
•    Work closely with content team - managing content strategy briefs for new vehicle launches and model year updates, collaborating with account and project managers where necessary
•    Reviewing and interpreting data and analytics to identify where the best opportunities lie for optimising the website experience and increasing conversions
 
Essential experience required:
•    5+ years’ experience in project management
•    Experience working in product-led teams in a multi country web platform  environment
•    Proven track record of delivering projects to time and budget, and meeting client expectations by impeccable project management
•    Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; a strong relationship-builder with internal and client teams
•    Highly organised individual, with the ability to confidently manage multiple tasks concurrently
•    Resilience to work under pressure to tight turnarounds
•    Automotive experience beneficial
•    Experience working at a Global or regional level in an agency
•    Experience managing digital/ platform projects, with a particular emphasis on website experiences
•    Analytical, with good attention to detail, and a genuine interest in helping build better products and user experiences
•    Understanding of content strategy and UX design, ideally having managed content and UX-led projects
•    Problem-solver – someone who is able to think on their feet, unblock issues, and find practical resolutions fast
