The brand are looking for a confident Lead makeup artist to look after the Selfridges account with a flair of creativity and the ability to train teams and excel business!

The position of Lead Artist reports to the Counter Manager and is responsible for, but not limited to, the following responsibilities:

Sales/Operational

· Exemplary in achieving and over-achieving sales goals

· Analyze KPIs and sales achievement with counter management and be proactive to implement strategies to grow sales

· Support and lead in-store events and trainings

· Lead temporary staff teams in case of promotional spaces/locations out of the permanent counter

· Propose ideas to continuously catch people passing by the counter and/or to drive them to the counter

· Communicate with counter management to ensure both expectations of the Brand and retailer are met or exceeded

· Execute impactful store events that meet brand standards

· Partner with stores on merchandising and inventory to ensure the brand is represented at the highest level and ensure a very high level of customers satisfaction

· Possibly, according to profiles/needs/store, be the right hand of the Education Manager for trade tests / local trainings etc…

· Timely return of all phone calls, e-mails and communication from both retail and brand

Education & Artistry

· Demonstrate a superior level of make-up artistry skills vs the competition with the ability to teach and motivate the team

· Ability to perform make-up applications that align with the Brand Service Menus and to lead clients’ masterclasses at the counter

● Work with Counter Management, Education Manager and Brand’s artists to cascade Brand expertise and develop personal artistry and sales skills

· Assist clients with product knowledge, makeup applications and purchases with the brand and throughout the store

● Provide exceptional service at all times to all clients, internally and externally and within all retail environments

● Observe, evaluate and feedback training needs

● Create and facilitate trainings sheets based on needs, with the validation of the Education Manager
