24 Seven has partnered with a global leader in fashion and accessories to an experienced Logistics Associate to their growing supply chain team!
Responsibilities:
Coordinate Shipments:
- Plan and schedule shipments, considering factors such as carrier availability, customer requirements, and transit times.
- Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Collaborate with warehouse personnel to track stock levels and reconcile discrepancies.
Documentation and Compliance:
- Prepare and maintain shipping documents, including bills of lading and customs documentation.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and international regulations governing the shipment of goods.
Route Optimization:
- Optimize delivery routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
- Evaluate transportation methods and costs to identify opportunities for cost savings.
Communication:
- Act as a liaison between suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve any issues or delays.
- Keep stakeholders informed about the status of shipments and any potential disruptions.
Problem Resolution:
- Proactively identify and address potential logistical challenges.
- Work to resolve shipping and delivery issues promptly and effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a logistics coordinator or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with logistics software and systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of local and international shipping regulations.
