Position Title: Manager, Marketing Division/Dept/Resort/Property: Irvine Company, Office; Marcom Reports To: Martina Oijala Contract Position Date: 7/2022
POSITION SUMMARY The Manager, Marketing will be responsible for leading and executing Strategic Marketing Campaigns for Priority Properties within our Orange County Office Portfolio. This position will require management of creative and strategic marketing programs to help drive leasing through impactful prospective customer and broker targeted marketing tactics. This position will collaborate closely with Office Properties Leasing and Development teams. This role will also require the ability to deliver impactful broker email campaigns for Orange County and support two Senior Marketing Managers on the team with day to day marketing deliverables.
JOB DUTIES – ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Other duties and projects may be assigned or requested. - Develop and manage Priority Property and Reinvestment Marketing Programs throughout Orange County. Manage the messaging, creative direction and execution of all marketing materials (examples include: collateral, email, website, photography, video, etc.). Collaborate with Leasing, Operations, Development and Marketing teams. - Manage and execute broker email campaigns for Orange County portfolio. Collaborate with Email Marketing team and Leasing. - Provide thorough and strategic direction to agency partners to ensure all deliverables uphold the Irvine Company brand message.
Systems utilized: Google Productivity Apps including Sheets, Slides and Docs.

NATURE AND EXTENT OF SUPERVISION PROVIDED TO THE POSITION Supervision provided by Director, Marketing. This role requires initiative and problem solving and an ability to work cross-functionally to drive strong results. Must be able to work within a matrix organization.
SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT/LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES Lead multiple projects including agency/vendors as well as internal marketing coordinators. While this role doesn’t have any direct reports, there are various members of the team that will support their projects.
PROBLEM SOLVING Identify potential problems and proactively generate ideas for acceptable solutions, then initiate solutions as best practices for role and overall team. Perceived as a thoughtful resource who can deliver a variety of strong marketing programs. This requires an individual that can juggle multiple personalities and priorities while still upholding the vision for our brand.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS – EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (e.g., special knowledge / experience) 1. A bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or a related field is required. 2. Experienced professional with a minimum of 5 years of marketing experience. 3. Strategic and creative thinker. Strong messaging and communication skills. 4. Results-driven individual with an ability to work in a fast paced environment. 5. Strong interpersonal skills. 6. Comfort in working in a fast paced, team-oriented, consensus-driven environment 7. Positive, professional, and accommodating attitude 8. Assess and make sound evaluations and judgments 9. Detail oriented
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS – PREFERRED EXPERIENCE 1. Creative agency experience a plus. 2. Luxury brand experience preferred.

3. Working knowledge of Google Apps (Docs, Slides, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar and Drive) and high comfort level with technology 4. Product management, brand management, and/or B2B/B2C experience. Real estate experience a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT Fast-paced, high-intensity work environment. Self-starter mindset that works well in a collaborative team environment. Direct customer contact so strong written and verbal communication skills are a must. Managing multiple project deliverables under tight deadlines on daily basis.
